Dr. Dana DeMartino, a dedicated chiropractor committed to improving the health and well-being of her patients. She graduated from the University of Bridgeport School of Chiropractic, where she developed a deep understanding of the human body and a passion for holistic health care.

She firmly believes in a patient-centered approach and the importance of taking the time to listen to patient concerns, understanding their health history, and developing a customized treatment plan that fits your unique needs. Whether you’re dealing with acute or chronic pain, recovering from an injury, or simply looking to maintain your health, Dr. DeMartino is here to support you on your journey to wellness.

Before pursuing a career in chiropractic, she was a professional athlete. With over 27 years of experience on the ice, she dedicated much of her life to the game of hockey—growing from a young athlete into a professional goaltender. She  played my rookie professional season with the Metropolitan Riveters of the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL) (now the PHF), where she competed at the highest level of women’s hockey in North America. As a goaltender, she brought leadership, consistency, and a calm presence in the crease—qualities that defined her playing style throughout my career.

Prior to her professional debut, she spent decades honing my craft across various elite levels of competition, developing a deep understanding of the game and a tireless work ethic. Her longevity in hockey—spanning nearly three decades—speaks to her passion, resilience, and commitment both on and off the ice. This experience gave her firsthand insight into the physical demands and challenges the human body faces, as well as the importance of maintaining optimal health and performance through proper care and treatment.
