Gaby-Flores-600x600.jpgDr. Flores, which she prefers patients to call her just by Gaby, is a dedicated physical therapist with a diverse background in clinical practice and leadership. In 2015, she earned the degree of Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Cebu Doctors' University in the Philippines and followed by her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Dominican College of Blauvelt in New York in 2020. Her educational journey has equipped her with a strong foundation in rehabilitation science, which she applies to enhance the lives of her patients.

She is proud to be part of the New York Brain, Spine & Joint team, focusing on the Great Neck region of Long Island. Her role allows her to work closely with patients to develop tailored rehabilitation plans that address their unique needs and goals. Previously, she served as the Chief Physical Therapist at Chong Hua Hospital in Cebu City, Philippines where she spearheaded and directed the operations of the in-patient department and ensured high standards of care and effective team collaboration.

With nearly seven years of experience in managing worker's compensation and no-fault cases, she has developed a comprehensive understanding of the complexities involved in rehabilitation care. Her background also includes a strong focus on pediatrics, having worked at the Elizabeth Seton Children's Rehabilitation Center, where she was able to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families.

She is committed to continuous professional development, having completed a certification in COVID-19 Contact Tracing from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2020, and attended Infant courses based on the Principles of Neurodevelopmental Techniques at theTexas Children's Hospital in 2021. An aspiring healthcare executive, she will begin a Master of Health Administration program from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University come fall.

Gaby believes in the power of compassionate care and collaboration, and she is dedicated to helping her patients achieve their fullest potential. She would love to connect and explore how she can work together with patients to improve health and well-being in the community.
