Stan-Anderson-600.jpgStan Anderson, DC is a licensed chiropractor with over three decades in practice, most of them working in the multi-disciplinary area alongside orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, physical therapists, pain management physicians, acupuncturists and massage therapists.

For most of his career, he has focused on treating individuals injured through no fault of their own in automobile accidents or at work.

Dr. Anderson has spent hundreds, if not thousands of hours, doing post-graduate studying, through Cleveland University - Kansas City. ACCME Joint Providership with the State University of New York at Buffalo, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Academy of Chiropractic Post-Doctoral Division, to support this area of expertise, including MRI interpretation, various treatment techniques, accident reconstruction, spinal biomechanical engineering, and spinal trauma pathology to list a few.

He is a second-generation chiropractor and, like his father, has practiced on Long Island his entire career. His brother William, also a chiropractor, practices outside Columbus, Ohio.

A graduate of New York Chiropractic College in 1988, he began practicing with his father before working and learning from some of the most respected names in the chiropractic profession.  While his area of focus is post-traumatic soft tissue injuries of the spine, his passion for soccer (he has played all over the country as well as many Central American and European countries) has provided him with ample experience treating and managing the injuries of athletes in many sports. This led to his role as Director of Chiropractic Rehabilitation for F.C. New York, a soccer club that played in the USL Professional Division in 2011-2012.

Dr. Anderson has always believed that the best way to provide healing to the whole patient was in an inter-disciplinary environment where doctors of many specialties work and communicate together to maximize everyone’s recovery.
