SURGERY PREPARATION

• You will be escorted in to change and secure belongings.
• Then escorted to a pre-operative area in further preparation for surgery and patient education. 
• Surgical staff will meet with you to discuss surgery and answer any questions.

POST SURGERY

PATIENT PICK UP

Procedures for patient pick up.

DISCHARGE

You and your designated guest will be provided with verbal and written post-operative care instructions upon discharge. 

DISCHARGE TIMEFRAME

OUTPATIENT

You will be discharged same day. 

OVERNIGHT STAY

If your surgeon recommends an overnight stay you will be discharged the following morning. 

INPATIENT STAY

If your surgeon recommends and inpatient stay you will likely stay in the hospital for 2-4 days. You may or may not be transferred to a rehabilitation facility.
