Day of Surgery

The day of your surgery, it’s important to arrive and follow all final instructions from our team.

1. Arrive at the surgery center at your scheduled time. Late arrival may result in cancellation.
    
2. Do not eat or drink anything, unless explicitly told otherwise. Intake of ACE inhibitors (antihypertensive) should be suspended on the day of surgery.
    
3. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Avoid jewellery, makeup, lotion, perfume, or contact lenses.
    
4. Bring
   Your ID and insurance card
   Any required paperwork or imaging
   A list of medications
    
5. Leave valuables and large bags at home

A responsible adult must accompany you and be available to drive you home after surgery. You cannot leave alone or use a rideshare or taxi without an escort.
